About Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University :

Recently the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) officially renamed to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University is a public university in the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh setup by the government of Uttar Pradesh on May 8, 2000. And later to distribute the workload, the university was bifurcated into separate universities Gautam Buddha Technical University and Mahamaya Technical University with effect from 1 May 2010. But after some time in 2013 the government again form the university by combining the GBTU & MTU on 5th Jan 2013.
Around 40-45 colleges are affiliated to the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (APJAKTU) formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). Now the UPTU changes their exam pattern please know about the new exam pattern of UPTU/Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University before starting the preparations for exams, here you can know about the UPTU/APJAKTU New Exam Pattern 2015 :

Section A :
~ Sec-A Consist of 10 Question each of weightage 2 Marks (10 Question X 2 Marks = 20 Marks).
~ All questions of Section A is compulsory to attempt that's means no choices.

Section B :
~ Sec-B consists of 7 Questions each of weightage 5 Marks.
~ But you need to do any of just 5 Questions out of 7 Questions.
~ And each question is of 10 Marks (5 Question x 10 Marks = 50 Marks)
~ So Section B holds total of 50 Marks.

Section C :
~ Sec-C consists of 3 Questions.
~ From which you have to attempt any 2 Questions.
~ And each Question is of 15 Marks.
~ 2 Que. X 15 Marks = 30 Marks.
