It has produced more than 15,000 post graduate degree holders, 700 Ph.D. degree holders and many diploma and certificate holders in Science, Social Science, Humanities and Medical Sciences.
The aims and objectives behind the formation of this association are:

To compile, maintain and up-date a directory of the members of the association.
To provide cooperation and coordination on the vital issues of the university.

Employment Information and Guidance Bureaue:

The University Employment Information and Guidance Bureau, Manipur University Canchipur was opened on 15 September 1989.The main function of the bureau is to disseminate the employment information for courses or studies; syllabus etc. for higher studies in India and abroad to the University alumni; to register graduates, postgraduates and professional graduates.

The aims and objectives of the bureau are the following:

To register persons holding a Master’s or higher degree of post graduate diploma or equivalent
To give information and guidance to the University alumni.
To arrange coaching classes for competitive examination such as Civil services examination, Banking service competitive examination etc.
